This is an event for developers, by developers. We're here to learn together, and we have the 4 topic experts here to help people out, but we expect basic command line and coding knowledge. Note: we've got a 4th topic expert joining us, Brian will be presenting [https://enhance.dev/ Enhance].

We'd like you to commit to the following:

* show up on time at 9:30am; presentations start at 10am sharp
* bring your own laptop; if you have an extension cable and/or power bar, that will be helpful
* present at end of day one thing you learned -- either as a demo on the presenter OR just speaking up and saying "I learned x, y, z"

You'll be on your own for grabbing lunch in the area. We'll likely do a group pizza order for dinner.

Check the [[Vancouver Hack Day|main Hack Day wiki page]] for other background, agenda, and requirements.

If you're ''not'' going to be hacking for the day, '''you're welcome to come by for end of day presentations starting at 5pm'''. Please set your status to "not going" to make room for hackers, and/or let us know by hitting reply on this email.

Hi everyone!

Thanks for your interest in the first DWebYVR Hack Day!

We capped attendance at 25 people, and we've got people on the wait list. Please be ready to commit to the following or help us out by setting your status to not going. We'll have more opportunities in the future.

This is an event for developers, by developers. We're here to learn together, and we have the 4 topic experts here to help people out, but we expect basic command line and coding knowledge. Note: we've got a 4th topic expert joining us, Brian will be presenting Enhance.

We'd like you to commit to the following:

  • show up on time at 9:30am; presentations start at 10am sharp
  • bring your own laptop; if you have an extension cable and/or power bar, that will be helpful
  • present at end of day one thing you learned -- either as a demo on the presenter OR just speaking up and saying "I learned x, y, z"

You'll be on your own for grabbing lunch in the area. We'll likely do a group pizza order for dinner.

Check the main Hack Day wiki page for other background, agenda, and requirements.

If you're not going to be hacking for the day, you're welcome to come by for end of day presentations starting at 5pm. Please set your status to "not going" to make room for hackers, and/or let us know by hitting reply on this email.
